sep - sunflower fair

LOLAA is providing exhibits for the
Arts in the Park” Summer Concert series at Fox Park, which occurs every Wednesday and Thursday evening during the summer.
New this summer - we have
built a pavilion and a storage shed!
This makes a very nice exhibit area.
Thanks to LOLAA members
who helped to build the shed.

LOLAA will participate in the annual Door Village Harvest Festival the weekend of September 12th and 13th.
Ken Baker will provide details
as the date gets nearer.

The Sunflower Fair will be held on Saturday, September 19th. Kitty Wolf will provide information for LOLAA members who want to exhibit in the
Art Gallery Walk at the Rumley
during the Sunflower Fair.
Also, LOLAA plans to have a tent at the fair this year. Details to follow this soon.

This workshop is designed to help watercolorists and colored pencil artists alike learn the potential of these wonderful little tools. Imagine the convenience of a pan of watercolor pigment in the form of a concentrated pencil point, and the painting possibilities are amazing- and fun! Draw, spatter, grate, dissolve: water-soluble pencils and crayons offer an abundance of techniques and beautiful effects. Kristy Kutch, author of Drawing and Painting with Colored Pencil and the featured artist on the DVD Colored Pencil Landscapes: Beyond the Basics, is an experienced, upbeat workshop instructor who aims to provide her students with an enjoyable, informative workshop experience.
