Dave Levandoski
Biography: A cartoonist since high school, began serious art in 1977 as a student of the late Thelma Lahayne, a LaPortean and New York City based oil painter. A member of the Michigan City Art League for several years. Also took oil painting lessons from artist Richard Moyer, Three Oaks, Mich. Self taught in watercolor and acrylic painting; current member of LOLAA.
Mission Statement: To produce art work that satisfies me and pleases my family and friends, to whom I give my paintings.
Media: Water color (primarily), acrylic and mixing those and other media.
Special Information: Only at the request of family or friends. No lessons, no presentations. At my winter residence in Florida, I paint marine scenes on sea shells in acrylic.
